Edible Art Show
1. Set out all kinds of Little Debbie® snacks,
along with tubes of frosting, candy decorations, colorful
sprinkles, and other edible supplies.
2. Have the guests create an artistic masterpiece
from the snacks any way they like.
3. Have them name their creative works on place
cards and display the creations with their cards like
a museum. Let the kids eat their artistic creations
when the show's done.
Creative
Collages
1. Supply art materials, such as construction
paper, markers, stickers, paint, glue, scissors, glitter,
ribbon, fun foam, wood scraps and magazines (to cut
photos out of). Anything the kids can use to create
works of art.
2. Let them make a collage of things they like.
Whether it be dog pictures with glued on macaroni collars
or puffy foam ponies with yarn manes and tails.
3. Frame and display the finished products. Give
everyone an award for creativity!
Silly Sculptures
1. Make Baker's Clay by combining four cups flour,
one cup salt and one and one-half cups water.
2. Let the kids create monsters, jewelry, animals,
flowers, or whatever they like.
3. Place the finished products on foil-covered
cookie sheets and the bake in the oven at 250 degrees
for one hour or until firm.
4. Paint the clay creations with poster paints
when they're cool to the touch.<
